CAETL Talking about Teaching Events

Graduate Students: Don't forget to mark your calendars for these upcoming important CAETL and Grad TA events:

Friday, Jan. 20th, 3:00-5:00 pm, AH 100
CAETL "Talking About Teaching"  - "Learning Opportunities Inside and Outside the Classroom"
This event will explore unique student learning opportunities such as student run conferences, community forums, group projects and contests, as well as international study tours. The audience will be able to engage in discussion about the challenges and successes of teaching students in these different learning environments. As well, those in attendance will discuss how instructors can facilitate successful learning during these learning opportunities. We encourage all faculty and graduate students to attend this event. A door prize is available, and remember that entering the draw for the door prize at the Talking About Teaching Events also qualifies you for the ipad draw at the CAETL Teaching Day being held May 4th, 2012. And remember – attendance at CAETL TaT events counts toward your Grad TA Certificate of Participation.

Wednesday, Jan. 25th, 12:00-2:00 pm, L 1168
